SUNITA SRINIVASAN CO-ORDINATOR (HOD - BHM)
KLE Society’s S.Nijalingappa College, Department of Hotel Management established in the year 1991, is the first institution that ventured into Hospitality and Catering Course way back in 1991 affiliated to Bangalore University and approved by AICTE. Within a span of 24 years the institute has made its presence felt in the industry and carved niche for itself as a source of competent management and technical manpower for hospitality establishment. Since then the college has churned out 20 batches of students with a strong alumni network as old as its history itself. The institution has been acclaimed and re-accredidated as Grade ‘A’ by National Assessment Accreditation Council for quality in education. This is possible due to the rigorous training, academic inputs, and the support from the various reputed hospitality, catering, travel and tourism industries in the City.
BHM programme exposes the students through comprehensive and intensive sessions spread over four years (eight semesters). While interactive learning aims at promoting a wide knowledge base, the students are encouraged to analyse, anticipate and innovate and prepare for a challenging career in the hospitality industry.
